This policy explains how Min - Trans s. r. o. handles the personal data you give us through this website, by phone or by e-mail. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing. We have tried to write something you can actually read. If anything is unclear, ask us — we will answer in plain language.
1. Who is the controller of your data
The controller of your personal data is Min - Trans s. r. o., with its registered office at Praha, Česká republika, company ID —. On any data protection matter, contact us at info@mintrans.cz or by phone on +420 775 602 217. We have not appointed a data protection officer — the law does not require us to, and your requests are handled directly by the company's management.
2. What data we process
We process only the data you give us yourself, plus the technical data needed to run the website. We do not buy contact databases and we do not track you across other sites.
- Identification and contact data: name, phone number, e-mail, and where relevant company name and company ID.
- The content of your enquiry: the make and model you are after, year, mileage, budget, destination country and timing.
- The content of our correspondence: e-mails, form submissions and notes from phone calls.
- Data about a vehicle you offer us for purchase: VIN, odometer reading, service history and photographs.
- Billing and payment data, if a contract is concluded.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request time in the server logs.
3. Why we process the data and on what legal basis
Every processing operation has its purpose and its legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Handling your enquiry and pre-contractual negotiations — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Performing the purchase contract, delivering the vehicle and preparing the export documentation — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Complying with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax ones — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Protecting our legitimate interests: spam defence, site security and the possible pursuit of legal claims — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Sending stock updates and setting optional analytics cookies — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, that is only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. How long we keep the data
Data from an enquiry that did not lead to a deal is deleted no later than 24 months after our last contact. Contractual, accounting and tax records are kept for the period required by the Czech Accounting Act and the VAT Act, that is up to 10 years. Consent to receive stock updates applies until withdrawn, and every e-mail carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Server logs are deleted within 90 days.
5. Who we share the data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing purposes. Access is limited to our own staff and to the processors who need it to deliver the service:
- Our server hosting and e-mail provider.
- Accountants and tax advisers.
- Hauliers and customs agents, where we arrange transport and clearance for you.
- Leasing and finance companies, if you ask for financing yourself.
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Our servers and our processors operate within the European Union. If we are delivering a vehicle for you to a third country, we have to pass the necessary data — name, address and the details from the purchase contract — to the carrier and to that country's customs authorities. Such a transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract under Article 49(1)(b) GDPR.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR against us as controller at any time. An e-mail to info@mintrans.cz is enough. We reply within one month and we charge nothing for it.
- The right of access and to a copy of the data we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
- The right to erasure, unless the processing is required to meet a legal obligation.
- The right to restriction of processing.
- The right to data portability in a machine-readable format.
- The right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.cz.
9. How we protect the data
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the administration is protected by a password and two-factor authentication, and every change to the data is logged. Only the staff handling your enquiry can see it. If a security breach with a risk to your rights nevertheless occurred, we would report it to the Office for Personal Data Protection within 72 hours and, where the risk is high, notify you personally as well.
10. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy, for example when we start using a new tool or when the legislation changes. The current version is always at this address and the date of the last update is shown at the top. We will announce material changes on the website in advance. Where we process data on the basis of your consent, we will ask for fresh consent.
